Aurora's Midwest Gingerbread House Competition 2012
Saturday, December 1, 2012
The Centre
In a unique effort to raise funds and awareness for Aurora and its mission to end homelessness, the Midwest Gingerbread House Competition & Holiday Showcase was developed in 2011. What better way to bring the community together than a fun-filled, friendly contest consisting of the holiday tradition and wonder of building gingerbread houses. Unlike other competitions, Aurora’s twist on the event is the construction of the showpieces on-site. This is not only a chance for the public to view the incredible techniques and skills of professionals, amateurs and youth, but the “building” symbolizes what Aurora works to accomplish everyday through its services: Creating foundations and hope for those individuals and families who have no one else. 2012 promises to be BIGGER & BETTER! Here's what visitors can look forward to this year:

Business Partnership & Sponsorship Information
Without the support of corporations, businesses, and the community, the Midwest Gingerbread House Competition would not be possible. Events such as this one allow Aurora's doors to stay open and furthermore, continue our mission to end homelessness—one individual, one family at a time. We need partners—big and small—to provide a fun, exciting experience for the community, as well as raise funds and awareness for Aurora.
In 2012, Aurora is thrilled to offer a variety of event partnership opportunities to corporations, businesses, and community members. Partnering with Aurora and the Midwest Gingerbread House Competition is beneficial for all involved.
